Will my child make it?
Nothing compares to the loving concern and caring compassion of a father and mother. Loving parents create the environment of security and confidence for their children, and for generations to come. Parents are a key and guide to life. Some are parents through birth, others by adoption or foster parent relationship. It is caring love that constitutes a family for a child.
My child is also the expression the Christian faith ushers as echoing its founder, Jesus. There are challenging tasks given in the Christian faith, the most serious one to follow Christ caring for the next generation. Better to have a millstone around your neck than to indifferently harm the children. Remember?
It gives strength seeing growth and development take place in our children’s lives. To realize the awesome calling to parenthood, to be a mother and father of integrity is the best! It does not come without hurt and grief - we all know that. But integrity comes with the honest commitment to always love and first of all live for my child - and for the children of the world. That is significant and strength giving. And thus you and I are given purpose.
And there is strength for it. It is close to the heart of God and power is provided for all that seek.
Felix Family Villages is committed to building families for abandoned and orphaned children, and to further the powerful model of family, with a mom and a dad, to a caring parent generation.
United in this we will make it, and our children will too.
